Get more direct bookings. Pay less to booking platforms.

A new, fast website designed so your guests book with you rather than on Booking. No commission, and you keep their contact details.

How much do you pay Booking.comBooking.com?

Paid to platforms over a year ≈ €55,200

Based on an average platform commission of 18%.

With 1 booking in 10 made direct: ≈ €5,500 back every year

The offer

A brand-new website, rebuilt from scratch, for one thing only: direct bookings.

The commission the platforms advertise is only the starting point. Visibility programmes, discounts you fund yourself, payment fees: the bill climbs fast. Every booking made on your own website is that commission saved.

No patching up. I don't touch up your current website: I start from a blank page, technology included. That is what guarantees speed, search visibility and a booking journey with no leaks. Your texts, photos and reviews are carried over.

Direct booking up front

Availability search visible everywhere and a short path to payment, on your own booking engine.

Mobile first

Rooms, photos and rates readable at a glance on a smartphone. A website that loads in under two seconds.

FR, NL, EN

A real version for each language your guests speak, not machine translation.

Found on Google

Local SEO, Google Maps and Google Hotels, so you show up when people look for a hotel in your area.

Understood by ChatGPT

Clear, structured content, so ChatGPT and other assistants can recommend your hotel.

Connected to your tools

Booking engine, guest database, newsletter, statistics: everything is linked, and you know where your bookings come from.

Why we expanded the website

One page per room

Each room can appear on Google for its own search (“family room Brussels city centre”), with its photos, amenities and a direct booking button.

Restaurant and bar built in

Le Conteur and Scène are part of the experience. Featuring them on the website keeps visitors with the hotel instead of sending them elsewhere.

A guide that answers travellers

“How do I get to the Grand-Place from Brussels-Midi?” “What can I do in 48 hours?” These are the questions people ask Google and ChatGPT before booking. The website answers them, and the hotel gets cited.

An FAQ that removes doubts

Cheaper direct? Air conditioning? Parking? Check-in time? The answers are on the website, marked up for Google and AI, right when the guest hesitates.

Three languages, for real

A URL and content specific to each language: the website can be found by French-speaking, Dutch-speaking and international guests.

A lighter homepage

Less text on the homepage, booking up front, details on dedicated pages. Visitors find what they need quickly, and book more easily.

Laurent Van Ausloos
About me

One point of contact, from first call to launch.

I'm Laurent Van Ausloos. Every day, I work to make a real impact on the marketing of small and mid-sized businesses: positioning, websites, campaigns, content. I know what a website has to bring in, not just what it should look like.

Before that, ten years producing in advertising agencies (TBWA, BBDO, DDB) and five years building my own company. It left me with one rule: deliver what was promised, on time.

Frequently asked questions

What hoteliers ask me.

Every project is priced as a fixed fee after the audit, from €2,900, depending on the number of pages, languages and tools to connect. You get a clear proposal with a timeline. Payment in two instalments: 50% on order, 50% at launch. No surprises along the way.

2 to 4 weeks, depending on the scope. The exact timeline is in the proposal, and you approve each step before moving on to the next.

Booking is still useful for being found. But every booking made through your own website saves you a commission and gives you the guest's direct contact details, so you can bring them back. A good website shifts part of your bookings to this direct channel.

Some travellers discover your hotel on Booking, then check your website before booking. If it is slow, unclear or hard to book on, they go back to Booking. A good website wins over some of those visitors, especially returning guests and people who search for your name on Google.

Having your own website with online booking is normal, and most hotels do it. Rate conditions, such as a lower price for direct bookings, depend on your contract with the platform: we look at them together during the audit.

A ready-made template is quick to set up, but it is rarely fast on mobile, rarely well ranked on Google and rarely built for direct bookings. And you are the one spending your evenings on it. Here, the website is built for your hotel, and all you do is approve.

No. I always start from scratch, technology included. Slowness and lost bookings usually come from the website's foundation itself (theme, plugins, pop-ups): touch-ups won't fix them. Your texts, photos and reviews are carried over to the new website.

Yes. The booking engine is a separate tool: the new website is built around it, and around your existing tools (guest database, newsletter, statistics). If you don't have them yet, I'll help you choose.

I write the texts based on our conversations and prepare the FR, NL and EN versions. Your photos are showcased; if they are not enough, a photo shoot can be arranged.

You do, entirely. The code, the content and the tool accounts (code on GitHub, content management on Strapi, hosting) are created in your name. I keep nothing. The website stays simple to update. The first 3 months of support are included, then it's €50 a month if you wish.

An overall score out of 100, the 3 priorities costing you the most bookings, Google mobile measurements and a comparison with hotels in your city. You receive it within 48 hours at most, as a PDF or a short commented video. No obligation.
